Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowler Yash Dayal is facing serious accusations of physical violence and exploitation from a woman who claims he misled her with promises of marriage. An FIR has been filed against Dayal in Uttar Pradesh, and the complainant, identified as Ujjwala Singh, has also sought the intervention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, indicating the severity of the situation and her lack of progress with local law enforcement.

According to reports, Ujjwala Singh alleges that she was in a relationship with Yash Dayal for five years and that he exploited her mentally, financially, and physically. She claims that Dayal introduced her to his family and acted as a husband, leading her to believe in his commitment. However, upon realizing his true intentions and confronting him, she alleges that she was subjected to abuse, including physical violence and mental harassment. The FIR also suggests that Dayal was involved in similar relationships with other women, indicating a pattern of deceitful behavior.

Ujjwala Singh states that she possesses substantial evidence to support her allegations, including chat records, screenshots, and video calls. Frustrated by the lack of progress after contacting the women's helpline on June 14, 2025, she has appealed directly to the Chief Minister's Office for justice. She claims to be financially and socially vulnerable and seeks a swift investigation and punishment for Dayal. The Ghaziabad police have reportedly been given a deadline of July 21 to act on the matter.

Neither Yash Dayal nor the RCB have issued any public statement addressing these allegations. Dayal has been with RCB since 2024 and was part of the team that won the IPL 2025. He also played for the Gujarat Titans when they won the championship in 2022.

This case has emerged amidst other allegations in the cricketing world. Recently, West Indian cricketer Shamar Joseph was accused of sexual harassment by multiple women. These incidents highlight the ongoing concerns about abuse and harassment within the sport, raising questions about the need for greater accountability and preventative measures.
