After a decade of glittering success in Munich, Kingsley Coman has officially bid farewell to Bayern Munich, embarking on a new chapter in his career with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. The move brings an end to Coman's trophy-laden spell with the Bundesliga giants, where he cemented his place as one of Europe's most exciting wingers.

Coman's journey with Bayern began in the summer of 2015, initially on loan from Juventus, before making the transfer permanent two years later. During his time in Bavaria, the French international enjoyed unparalleled success, winning nine Bundesliga titles, the Champions League, the Club World Cup, three DFB Cups, six German Supercups and the UEFA Super Cup. He made 339 appearances for Bayern, scoring 72 goals and assisting 71. His contribution to Bayern's dominance was further highlighted by his winning goal against Paris Saint-Germain in the 2020 Champions League final, a moment that etched his name in the club's history.

Despite his achievements, Coman's playing time had become less consistent, with the recent acquisitions of Luis Díaz and Michael Olise impacting his role in the team. This contributed to his decision to seek a fresh challenge in Saudi Arabia. At Al-Nassr, Coman will join a star-studded squad that includes Cristiano Ronaldo and João Félix.

The transfer fee for Coman is reported to be around €25 million, with potential bonus payments that could increase it to €30 million. While this may seem less than expected, Bayern will also benefit from the significant reduction in their wage bill, as Coman was one of the club's highest earners. In Saudi Arabia, Coman is expected to earn between €20-25 million per year.

According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo played a key role in convincing Coman to join Al-Nassr, personally advocating for the French winger's arrival.

Bayern Munich officials have expressed their gratitude for Coman's service to the club. Max Eberl, Bayern's board member for sport, acknowledged Coman's significant contribution and wished him well in his future endeavors. Coach Vincent Kompany admitted Coman's departure was emotional.

Coman also shared his gratitude and love for Bayern Munich on social media, expressing his thankfulness for being a part of the club's history.

As Kingsley Coman embarks on this new adventure in Saudi Arabia, he leaves behind a legacy of success and unforgettable moments at Bayern Munich. His contributions to the club will forever be remembered by fans, and he will always be considered a part of the Bayern family.
