Carlos Alcaraz continued his Wimbledon campaign with a hard-fought victory, while other notable names like Madison Keys and Naomi Osaka experienced early exits from the tournament.

Alcaraz, the defending champion, secured his place in the fourth round after overcoming a tough challenge from Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff. The Spaniard showcased his resilience and skill, eventually winning in four sets with a score of 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Alcaraz displayed moments of frustration during the match, but he regained his composure to secure the win. The victory marked Alcaraz's 21st consecutive win, extending his career-best winning streak. He is aiming to win his third consecutive Wimbledon title. In the next round, Alcaraz is set to face 14th seed Andrey Rublev for a place in the quarter-finals.

In a surprising turn of events, Madison Keys, the reigning Australian Open champion and No. 6 seed, was defeated by Germany's Laura Siegemund in straight sets. Siegemund, ranked No. 104 in the world, displayed a strong performance, eliminating Keys with a score of 6-3, 6-3. Keys struggled with unforced errors, committing 31 compared to Siegemund's 11. This loss makes Keys the fifth player among the top six seeds in the women's draw to suffer an early exit. Siegemund, at 37, is now the oldest player remaining in the women's tournament and will advance to the fourth round for the first time. Siegemund will face lucky loser Solana Sierra of Argentina in the fourth round.

Naomi Osaka's Wimbledon journey also came to an end in the third round, as she was defeated by Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. After winning the first set, Osaka lost momentum and Pavlyuchenkova took control, winning the match 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Osaka, who reached the third round for the first time since 2018, expressed her disappointment after the match. Osaka admitted that she felt numb after the loss, a contrast to the emotions she experienced after her first-round exit at Roland Garros.

Other notable results from Wimbledon include top seed Jannik Sinner and seven-time champion Novak Djokovic progressing to the next round. However, fourth seed Jack Draper suffered a defeat against Marin Cilic. Emma Raducanu also had a great win over ex-champion Marketa Vondrousova.
