Rishabh Pant, the dynamic Indian wicketkeeper-batter, is currently making waves both on and off the cricket field. Amidst the ongoing Test series against England, Pant took some time out to visit Wimbledon 2025, where he shared his insights on tennis and revealed his favorite players.

During his visit to the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Pant was interviewed about his Wimbledon experience and his favorite tennis stars. Pant revealed that he has always admired Roger Federer, particularly for his elegant single-handed backhand. He also acknowledged the greatness of Novak Djokovic and named Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner as his current favorites. Pant is currently enjoying the matches at Wimbledon during the break between the second and third India-England test matches.

When asked about a tennis player who embodies a similar charisma to his own, Pant picked Australian Nick Kyrgios. Pant stated, "He's one guy I really used to enjoy watching because the way he plays, he enjoys his game, that is something I always look forward to". This admiration highlights Pant's appreciation for Kyrgios's flamboyant style and the joy he brings to the sport.

Pant was also asked which tennis player could execute his famous scoop shot, a stroke he often employs against spinners in cricket. With a grin, Pant suggested Novak Djokovic. "I think Djokovic definitely can pull it off for sure," Pant said. Pant attended the Round of 16 match between Djokovic and Alex de Minaur. Virat Kohli, Joe Root, and James Anderson were also present at the match.

Beyond his admiration for individual players, Pant also shared his prediction for the Wimbledon 2025 title, backing Carlos Alcaraz to win the tournament.

Pant's presence at Wimbledon created a buzz, with fans and media outlets highlighting the crossover between cricket and tennis. Known for his fearless approach and entertaining style, Pant continues to be a popular figure both on and off the field. His recent form in the Test series against England has been exceptional, with centuries in both innings of the first Test and a crucial 65 in the second innings of the second Test.

Rishabh Pant's visit to Wimbledon 2025 provided a glimpse into his interests beyond cricket, showcasing his appreciation for tennis and his admiration for players like Roger Federer, Nick Kyrgios, and Novak Djokovic. Pant's ability to connect with fans and his engaging personality continue to solidify his position as one of India's most beloved athletes.
