The Flyers will kick off their 58th season on the road against the reigning, back-to-back Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers on Thursday, October 9. This marks the third consecutive year that Philadelphia starts the season on the road. The Flyers will then host the Panthers for their home opener on Monday, October 13, at the newly-named Xfinity Mobile Arena. Notably, the Flyers have a favorable 3-1-0 record against the Panthers in home openers.
