The cast members of the Canadian TV series Shoresy are sharing their excitement for the upcoming "Shoresy Classic" hockey games. The Shoresy series, a spin-off of Letterkenny, follows the character Shoresy and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (NOSHO) as they pursue their goal to never lose again.
The "Shoresy Classic" brings the characters from the show to life in a live hockey experience. Cast members lace up their skates to compete against NHL alumni in dynamic hockey games. A portion of the proceeds benefits local charities. Fans can attend the games and purchase VIP packages, which include meet-and-greets with the cast, Q&A sessions, and exclusive memorabilia.
The Shoresy series was created by and stars Jared Keeso. Keeso plays Shoresy, a "constantly chirping, trash-talking, foul-mouthed AAA hockey player". The show has been successful, with four seasons having already been released. Season 3 of Shoresy debuted on Crave in Canada on May 24, 2024, and on Hulu in the U.S. on June 21, 2024. Season 4 premiered on January 24, 2025, and the series has been renewed for a fifth season. The fifth season completed production in April, with a premiere date to be announced.
Many of the main cast members have returned for Shoresy Season 3, including: * Jared Keeso as Shoresy * Tasya Teles as Nat * Blair Lamora as Ziigwan * Keilani Elizabeth Rose as Miigwan * Ryan McDonell as Mark Michaels * Jonathan-Ismaël Diaby as Dolo * Terry Ryan as Ted Hitchcock * Max Bouffard as Jean-Jacques François Jacques-Jean ("JJ Frankie JJ") * Andrew Antsanen as Brant "Goody" Goodleaf * Camille Sullivan as Laura Mohr
Several guest stars also appeared in Season 3, including Steve Bossé, Pierre-Luc Létourneau-Leblond, Danick Paquette, and Marie-Mai.
The Shoresy series has partnered with the real-life Sudbury Wolves on charitable fundraising initiatives, including special limited-edition Sudbury Bulldogs jerseys that were worn by the Wolves players in an OHL game before being auctioned off to raise funds.
The "Shoresy Classic" tour will visit five North American cities. The tour kicks off on November 24 in Detroit and then swings through Toronto, Boston, Belmont Park, NY, and Los Angeles, where cast members will take on NHL legends. Local charities partnering with the Shoresy Fall Classic include the East Side Youth Sports Foundation (Detroit), MLSE Foundation (Toronto), Boston Bruins Foundation, The Islanders Children's Foundation, and the Kings Care Foundation.
An early access version of the new Shoresy: Legends of the North video game will soon be released for PCs on the Steam storefront. The game will be fully available for PC, Mac and major gaming platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, later this year.
