In the women's singles, unseeded Diksha Sudhakar pulled off a stunning upset against ninth seed Pimchanok Sutthiviriyakul of Thailand to advance to the semi-finals. Sudhakar showcased her resilience and skill, winning the match 21-11, 19-21, 21-9.
