In the 2023-24 season, York played all 82 games, contributing 10 goals and 20 assists for 30 points. During the 2024-25 season, he played 66 games, recording 4 goals and 13 assists.

The Flyers' decision to extend York's contract avoids the arbitration process, as he was a restricted free agent (RFA) eligible for arbitration this offseason. The contract includes no trade protection.
