Boston Fleet Unveils 2025-26 Training Camp Roster: Promising Prospects and Season Preparations Commences.

Boston Fleet Announce 2025-26 Training Camp Roster

BOSTON, MA (October 16, 2025) – The Boston Fleet have unveiled their training camp roster in preparation for the 2025-26 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) season. A total of 32 players are slated to participate, hitting the ice together for the first time on Monday, November 10, at the Boston Sports Institute.

The training camp roster consists of 17 forwards, 11 defenders, and 4 goaltenders. Of these, 21 players are already signed for the upcoming season, including 15 returning players from the Fleet. The remaining 11 unsigned players include four members of the team's 2025 draft class and seven additional invites. The team must finalize its roster by Wednesday, November 19, with a maximum of 23 active players allowed.

"As we enter our third season, we're proud of the training camp roster we've assembled,” said Fleet general manager Danielle Marmer. “Each player was selected with a clear vision of how they can contribute to our team, with careful consideration given to experience, potential, and competitive character. Given the condensed nature of camp, we know the pace will be demanding, and we're eager to see how this group responds and helps define the next chapter of the Fleet”.

Key returning players include Megan Keller, Alina Müller, and Aerin Frankel, all of whom have signed new two-year contract extensions. Forwards Loren Gabel, Theresa Schafzahl, Susanna Tapani, Jill Saulnier, and defender Hadley Hartmetz are also back on one-year contracts.

The Fleet have also added new talent to their roster. Zoe Boyd (from Ottawa), goaltender Abbey Levy (from New York), and Laura Kluge and Rylind MacKinnon (from Toronto) will be joining the team. Free agent forwards Chloé Aurard-Bushee (from New York) and Liz Schepers (from Minnesota) will also be attending the camp. These new additions will join returning Fleet players Hannah Brandt, Jamie Lee Rattray, and Sophie Shirley.

A notable absence from this year's camp is former captain and forward Hilary Knight, who signed with PWHL Seattle. Additionally, forwards Hannah Bilka and defender Emily Brown were selected by Seattle in the expansion draft, while defender Sydney Bard was chosen by Vancouver. Free agents Sidney Morin, Jessica DiGirolamo, Lexie Adzija, and Emma Greco have also departed.

The Boston Fleet will play two preseason scrimmages against Montréal on Saturday, November 15, at 7 p.m. ET and Monday, November 17, at 2 p.m. ET at Verdun Auditorium.

Fans can follow the action with live stats recorded at thepwhl.com and updates across league and team social media channels. The Fleet will open the 2025-26 regular season at home on Sunday, November 23, hosting the Montréal Victoire at 1 p.m. ET at the Tsongas Center.
