Moore, a 20-year-old, was drafted by the Blackhawks in the first round (19th overall) of the 2023 NHL draft. His nine points also put him fourth overall in points among all AHL players.
Blackhawks coach Jeff Blashill has taken note of Moore's strong performance in Rockford. "I know Oliver Moore's had a good start," Blashill said on October 31. "I know Nick Lardis has had a good start. I think our young defensemen are all playing well, so it's good. It's great to see those guys playing well".
