The first of Musovski's goals came late in the first half, capitalizing on a fantastic team attack. Musovski expertly headed the ball past Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper John Pulskamp, putting Seattle ahead 2-1 just before halftime. Reed Baker-Whiting provided the assist with a well-placed cross.
Musovski wasn't done there. In the second half, he extended Seattle's lead further, scoring his second goal with another header, this time from a corner kick. This goal solidified the Sounders' advantage, making the score 3-1.
Adding to the drama, Musovski later completed a hat trick by converting a penalty kick.
