Apollo Tyres' Logo Adorns Indian Cricket Team Jersey: A New Partnership for Sporting Excellence and Brand Visibility.

Apollo Tyres has officially become the new lead sponsor of the Indian cricket team, with its logo now appearing on the jerseys of both the men's and women's national teams across all formats. This marks the tyre manufacturer's first foray into the world of Indian cricket.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the landmark partnership on September 16, 2025, after a rigorous bidding process. The agreement spans two and a half years, concluding in March 2028. This partnership succeeds Dream11, whose sponsorship ended following the enactment of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill.

The Apollo Tyres logo will be prominently displayed on the front and leading arm of the Team India jersey. The unveiling of the new jersey with the Apollo Tyres logo took place ahead of the first Test match between India and West Indies.

The sponsorship is valued at INR 579.06 crore, a substantial increase compared to Dream11's previous agreement of INR 358 crore. Apollo Tyres will pay approximately INR 4.5 crore per bilateral game and INR 1.72 crore for each ICC fixture. The deal encompasses around 130 fixtures, including 121 bilateral matches and 20 ICC matches.

Several companies were in contention for the sponsorship, including Canva, JK Cement, and Birla Optus Paints. However, Apollo Tyres emerged as the winner with the highest bid.

BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the hard work and consistent performance of the Indian teams. He noted that Apollo Tyres' decision to sponsor Indian cricket speaks volumes about the sport's unparalleled reach and influence.

Apollo Tyres' Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Neeraj Kanwar, shared his pride in becoming the National Team Lead Sponsor of Team India. He emphasized that the partnership is about national pride, strengthening consumer trust, and showcasing Apollo as a leader in its category.

The collaboration aims to create impactful fan engagement, innovative activations, and a celebration of Indian cricket's legacy and future. The partnership officially commenced with immediate effect.
