The pre-season friendly between Preston North End and Liverpool will be broadcast live in the UK on ITV1. Coverage is scheduled to begin at 2:40 PM BST on Sunday, July 13, 2025, to include pre-match tributes. The game kicks off at 3:00 PM BST.

You can also stream the match live and for free via the ITVX app or website. The match will also be available to stream on All Red Video for supporters across the world. Pre-match build-up will be shown live on Liverpool's social media channels.

For those outside the UK, the game will be available on a number of international channels. Some of the international broadcasters are CBS Golazo (USA), Nosso Futebol (Brazil), Sportdigital (Germany), Sport TV (Portugal) and many more.

The match will take place at Preston's Deepdale stadium.

This game marks Liverpool's first match since the tragic passing of Diogo Jota and his brother, André Silva. Both clubs will wear black armbands, and Preston will lay a wreath in front of the away supporters. There will be a special commemorative matchday program free to ticket holders. Also, there will be a rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" and a minute's silence prior to kick-off, and various digital tributes to the brothers. Preston has requested that all supporters be in their seats by 2:45 PM to allow the tributes to take place uninterrupted.

Liverpool's new signings, Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, Giorgi Mamardashvili and Milos Kerkez, could feature in the game. Mohamed Salah is also in line to feature, with Conor Bradley set for a runout at right-back.

Following the match against Preston, Liverpool will travel to Asia for friendlies against AC Milan and Yokohama F. Marinos in late July. They will then return to Anfield for back-to-back meetings with Athletic Club on August 4. Liverpool's final pre-season match will be against Crystal Palace in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium on August 10.
