Haaland's Goal Helps Manchester City Secure Comfortable Victory Over Bournemouth in Premier League Match.

Manchester City cruised to a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with Erling Haaland continuing his impressive goal-scoring record. Haaland scored twice, bringing him closer to 100 Premier League goals. Nico O'Reilly added the third goal for Manchester City in the second half. Tyler Adams scored for Bournemouth, briefly leveling the score in the first half.

The game started with high energy, as Bournemouth had a goal disallowed in the first minute after Eli Junior Kroupi was caught offside. Despite Bournemouth's aggressive press, Manchester City found opportunities to break through. In the 17th minute, Nico played a chipped ball to Rayan Cherki, who headed it over the defense, setting Haaland free to score the opening goal.

Bournemouth responded quickly, with Tyler Adams scoring in the 25th minute after a mistake by Manchester City's goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma. Donnarumma misjudged a punch from an Alex Scott corner, and Adams capitalized on the error. Manchester City quickly regained their composure and continued to press.

Haaland scored his second goal in the 33rd minute, thanks to a through ball from Cherki, putting Manchester City ahead again. City had appeals for a penalty waved away when a Bernardo Silva cross struck David Brooks' arm, but they maintained their lead.

In the second half, Nico O'Reilly scored his first goal of the season in the 60th minute, extending Manchester City's lead. The second half was less frantic than the first, but Manchester City maintained control of the game.

Bournemouth's Tyler Adams was forced off due to injury and was replaced by Ben Doak. Alex Scott was also substituted for Ryan Christie. Manchester City made several changes as well, with Jérémy Doku and Haaland being replaced by Savinho and Marmoush, respectively. Late in the game, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva were replaced by Rodri and Ait-Nouri.

The win moves Manchester City to second place in the Premier League, six points behind Arsenal. Bournemouth's away woes at the Etihad continued as they have never won a point there.
