Sreejesh added that the team's mental fortitude to perform under pressure was a key consideration during selection, in addition to their physical capabilities, skill, and teamwork. He also noted that the team had gained confidence by playing matches against the Senior India team during their preparations at the SAI campus in Bengaluru.
