Cuttack, December 12, 2025 – Indian shuttlers are making a significant impact at the Odisha Masters 2025, with Unnati Hooda, Tasnim Mir, and Kiran George all securing spots in the semi-finals. Their strong performances have kept Indian hopes alive in the tournament, which is being held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack.
Unnati Hooda, Tasnim Mir, Kiran George and Rounak Chouhan have maintained their momentum at the Odisha Masters. The young brigade lit up the opening day of the main draw with a series of impressive wins.
Kiran George displayed a commanding performance to advance. In the earlier rounds, George secured a victory over Rajesh Srikar with a score of 21-12, 21-13.
Tasnim Mir also delivered an upset by defeating fourth seed Rakshitha Sree. After losing the first game, Mir bounced back to win the next two games with scores of 21-17 and 21-13.
The Odisha Masters 2025 is the thirty-ninth tournament of the 2025 BWF World Tour and the fourth edition of the Odisha Masters. The tournament is organized by the Badminton Association of India with sanction from the BWF. The total prize money for the event is US$110,000. Other players such as Rounak Chouhan, Isharani Baruah, Tanya Hemanth, Ashwini Bhat-Shikha, Sathwik-Reshika, Tharun Mannepalli and Sankar Subramanian also made it to the semi-finals.
