Dubai, December 14, 2025 – The spotlight is firmly on Vaibhav Suryavanshi as India U19 faces off against arch-rivals Pakistan U19 in a highly anticipated Asia Cup clash in Dubai. India U19 started their campaign with a crushing 234-run victory over the UAE. The star of the show was undoubtedly Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who smashed a breathtaking 171 off just 95 balls. His innings included 9 fours and a record-breaking 14 sixes, leaving the UAE bowling attack in tatters. Suryavanshi's incredible strike rate of 180 and his aggressive approach have made him the talk of the tournament. In the same match, India U19 posted a massive 433/6, the highest-ever score in U-19 Asia Cup history.
Pakistan U19 also showcased their dominance in their opening match, securing a commanding 297-run victory against Malaysia. They bowled out Malaysia for a mere 48 runs.

In the match against UAE, Suryavanshi broke the world record for most sixes in a Youth ODI innings, surpassing Michael Hill's previous record of 12 sixes. He also became the first player in Youth ODI history to cross 50 career sixes.
