In the AHL, the Grand Rapids Griffins continued their strong season, although they were shut out for the first time this year in a recent game against Texas. Shai Buium debuted with Grand Rapids after recovering from an injury.

In international action, the U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team is set to face Finland at the IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship. The U.S. team has already secured the top spot in Group B. In their last game, the U.S. defeated Czechia 9-1, with Jane Daley recording her second consecutive hat trick. The U.S. has a dominant 8-0-0-0 record against Finland in the U-18 Women's Worlds.
