Napoli advanced to the Italian Super Cup final after defeating AC Milan 2-0 in a semi-final match held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. David Neres and Rasmus Højlund scored the goals for Napoli.

The match took place at the King Saud University Stadium, where thousands of fans witnessed Napoli, the defending Serie A champions, secure a spot in the final. Napoli aims to win the Supercoppa Italiana for the first time since 2014.

Milan had opportunities early in the game, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek testing Napoli's goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic in the fifth minute. Napoli responded with their own pressure, but Milan's defense held firm. Adrien Rabiot had a chance for Milan in the 34th minute, but his shot went over the bar.

Napoli broke the deadlock in the 39th minute when a low cross from Højlund was deflected by Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan into the path of David Neres, who scored. Højlund himself scored in the 64th minute, increasing Napoli's lead after receiving a pass from Leonardo Spinazzola. Milan's Fikayo Tomori missed a header, and Youssouf Fofana's header was saved by Milinkovic-Savic.

Milan, the previous season's Italian Super Cup winners, wore special jerseys with Arabic lettering. Napoli was without Romelu Lukaku, who was on the bench, but welcomed him back from injury.

Napoli will now face the winner of the other semi-final match between Bologna and Inter Milan in the final.

David Neres, a Brazilian winger, joined Napoli in August 2024. He has played in 50 matches for Napoli, scoring 6 goals and winning one trophy. Rasmus Højlund, a Danish striker, is currently on loan at Napoli from Manchester United. He has scored four goals in eleven appearances for Napoli.
